These shrank to tiny kiddie size, while they are very elastic and stretch, they are not the same as previous, they are very tight on my average size 10 foot and leg. I would certainly not buy these again. These socks should be marketed towards small children and middle schoolers. Certainly not high school aged kids or adults. Attached is a photo with an old pair washed a thousand times compared to 1 wash it should be noted I stretched the new one out to place on top of old one UPDATE - Lowered to a 1 Star - - These have been washed twice... they are tiny. i'll upload another photo of them on a sock thats been washed a thousand times. There are two inches of "binding" at the top of the sock. These are much more like compression socks; they fit very snugly. Rayon from bamboo should not be this thick. I will not buy any more, but I'm not going through the trouble of returning. Don't know what it is with these sock makers that the sock has to go nearly all the way up the calf. Very disappointed. However, one would think that "non-binding" means that the top of the sock would not constrict the blood flow to the skin. Wrong! These socks leave a serious impression on my calves. I have very little fat on my lower legs, but these socks are entirely too tight. I strongly recommend that you do not buy them unless this is not a problem for you. I previously purchased non-elastic gold-toe socks which were ideal for me. However, it is infinite wisdom Gold-Toe has apparently stopped manufacturing them. It's too bad that management has no concept of how to describe a principal feature of its product. These are one of the most BINDING socks in the market. It is a huge misrepresentation to call this Non Binding. If I were to use these socks everyday, I would have both my legs amputated. I will use them as rags to clean the shower. The pull-up parts on the shins are tight, definitely binding...so, not as described. I am smaller woman and imagine this would be more pronounced in anyone larger. I roll them down to keep the tightest part lower on leg. They also pill almost immediately when worn/washed. The previous models have one yellow line at the toes, these new ones have the entire toe area yellow. That's another thing - the product picture on amazon is the wrong picture, you won't get the ones with a yellow line as in the amazon picture. I don't like tight socks at the top that leave a skin ring after a long day, but these do. I do not agree they are Non Binding. Just a heads up for those people that really buy them for that purpose........ try another.
